Wipro, Marashtra Institute sign pact

Bangalore, Dec. 6

Wipro has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. The MoU envisages a series of activities and interactions addressing various stakeholders - students, faculty and the management, said a press release. The activities include faculty development programmes, technical sponsorships and student workshops. Mr Pradeep Bahirwani, Vice- President - Strategic Resourcing, Wipro, said, "The objective of this MoU is to build industry-academia relationship and empower students to gear up for the challenges of the corporate world." - Our Bureau
