HyperCity’s catalogue shopping

Mr Andrew Levermore

Mumbai, Dec. 7

HyperCity Argos has commenced its catalogue shopping operations at Thane, a suburb of Mumbai. Commenting on the launch, Mr Andrew Levermore, CEO, HyperCity Retail India Ltd, said: “This unique format of catalogue shopping is definitely suited for metros such as Mumbai, where retail space is expensive and has been a deterrent for retailers to reach out to a larger consumer base in a cost-efficient manner. HyperCity Argos, which is an integrated multi-channel capabilit y encompassing stores, home shopping and the Internet, will give our consumers a new and convenient way to shop.” The retail company expects to get 25 per cent returns on its investment made into this format in the next five years.
