Siemens PLM expands operations

Pune, Dec 10

Siemens PLM Software, a division of Siemens Automation and Drives(A&D) and provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, expanded its operations in Pune. According to Mr. Vivek Marwar, Country Manager, Siemens PLM, the new facility is located at Hinjewadi and can accommodate upto 1,100employees, expandable to 2,200. It was inaugurated by Dr. Helmuth Ludwig, President of Siemens PLM Software. It may be noted that Siemens PLM development centre ha s been in Hinjewadi since 1999 and has 800 employees on a sharing basis with another organisation. —
