Leakage: ONGC to cut output

New Delhi, Dec. 10

ONGC today said that the leakage from its Heera- Uran gas pipeline at its offshore Heera fields would lead to temporary curtailment of about 0.5 million standard cubic metre per day of gas. In a statement issued here, the company said it has immediately taken up the repair work. The gas line has been depressurised, it said. The pipeline will be fully operational within a week. The suspected leakage was observed on Monday morning, the company said. The leakage site is about 5 Nautical Miles from Bombay Floating Lights. - Our Bureau
