PSG College MoU with ICICI Bank

Coimbatore, Dec 12

With the banking industry in increasing need of trained professionals, the Department of Commerce, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, is launching a training programme for students in association with the ICICI Bank. The training programme would cover the basics of banking, retail credit, business credit, rural finance, insurance, customer service etc. The programme is scheduled for 300 hours with 50 per cent of the time allotted to e-learning. It also includes a n exposure to ‘live banking’ through visits to branches and processing centres. A lab simulator to offer exposure to real time transactions in the banking and financial sectors would be established, according to a college release. —
