People K.R. Srivats New Delhi, Dec 13 The Government has given three months extension to the Securities and Exchange Board of India whole-time member, Mr G. Anantharaman, who was to superannuate on December 14. Official sources said that the order giving the three-months extension has been issued. SEBI has three whole-time members. The Finance Ministry had recently kicked off the search process for the next round of top-level appointments to the SEBI board. It had shot off letters to various professional institutes like the Institute of Company Secretaries of India to recommend names that could be considered for appointment of SEBI Chairman and whole-time members in the coming days.
