As part of its centenary year celebrations, the Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) will organise a conference on the theme ‘Managing NGOs Better — Challenges of Social Sector’ on December 18 here. The objective of this meeting is to bring NGOs on a common platform, eliminate duplication of work , create awareness about their work, share experience and enhance the skills of such organisations.

Inclusive growth and rural development as also role of NGOs in corporate social responsibility (CSR) will also be discussed. Speakers include Mr. Ajay Narayan Singh, Managing Trustee of Dorabji Tata Trust and Mr. Gerson DaCunha of Agni NGO.—
