TMB branch at Satyamangalam

Madurai, Dec. 17

The Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has opened its 199th branch, fully computerised with safe deposit locker and ATM facilities at Satyamangalam in Erode district. Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director and CEO of the bank, Mr G. Narayana Moorthy, said the bank has been focusing on more agricultural advances with the sanctioning of loans to the tune of Rs 741.10 crore, working out to 17.07 per cent of net bank credit. It has approached the Reserve Bank of India for 17 licences for opening of branches within the current year itself.
