CSB opens Vizag branch

Visakhapatnam, Dec. 17

The Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) is planning to open 11 more branches before the end of the financial year, in addition to the existing 352, said Mr R. Venkataraman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He was speaking after the inauguration of the first branch in the vicinity of Diamond Park here recently. Mr Venkataraman said the bank would open another branch at Kukkatpalli in Hyderabad before the end of March and "we are also planning a branch at Kakinada, for which the licence is yet to be obtained." Mr K.S. Shankar, Director (Finance) of the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), inaugurated the branch. Mr Francy Davy, manager of the local branch, proposed a vote of thanks. The first ATM card was given to Mr G. Philip, chief executive of Hotaco Pvt Ltd. - Our Bureau
