Our Bureau Chennai, Dec. 18 Reliance Communications has introduced a range of content and value added services for subscribers in Tamil Nadu. According to a press release, the company has launched a youth centric ‘Micro SMS’ prepaid pack that can be recharged for Rs 10 between December 9 and January 31. The pack comes with a 30-day validity and includes 30 free local SMSes. SMSes outside the free quota will be charged at regular rates, the release said. The company has also introduced an ‘Ayyappan Pack’ for Rs 51 (valid for 30 days) that enables subscribers to download Ayyappan songs to be set as ring tones / caller ring back tunes. Subscribers can download songs at the rate of Re 1 a minute Additionally, subscribers will also get SMS alerts related to the ‘Ayyappan Deeksha’, pilgrimage and Ayyappan temple for 45 days with two alerts a day. As part of the Reliance Mobile World Christmas Zone of services, subscribers can now light a candle at the Velankanni Church near Nagapattinam by sending an SMS to 51234 or logging on to the Reliance Mobile World Web site and entering his/ her name under the ‘LightCandle’ service. Those keen on following the Kutcheri circuit may expect pleasant relief as they can now track their favourite artistes and the sabhas they are performing in. Reliance has tied up with Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha this year and schedules of artistes for the December Kutcheri are available on Reliance Mobile World, the release said.
