Call rates end higher

Mumbai, Dec 19

The inter-bank call rates closed higher at 7.70-7.80 per cent on Wednesday, against the previous close of 7.30-7.50 per cent. In the first one-day reverse repo auction, under Liquidity Adjustment Facility, the Reserve Bank of India received and accepted one bid for Rs 5 crore. There was no repo bid. The CBLO market saw 518 trades aggregating Rs 36,613.75 crore in the 7.10-7.90 per cent range. - Our Bureau
