Kochi, Dec. 20

The Kochi-based Anzera Properties, which has concentrated on real estate development, is launching a chain of high-end furniture stores in the State. The first store will be opened in Kochi within four months and it will have only imported furniture and exclusive items not found locally. The company expects to have a pan-India presence within five years, Mr Ziad A. Rahman, CEO, said. The ratio of the ownership in the new company is split between a stake of 30 per cent to b e held by Anzera Properties and 70 per cent held by private investors in the US and the UK. The company expects a turnover of Rs 4 crore in the first year.
