Tourism Tourism Dept scheme for students New Delhi, Dec 24 Students can now earn some money while pursuing their education. The Ministry of Tourism on Monday launched a new scheme `Earn while you learn' with the primary goal of inculcating appropriate tourism traits and knowledge among the trainee students. The three week programme, which is open to graduate and post-graduate students between the ages of 18-25, would see them being educated on Indian society and culture, historical monuments and managerial and behavioural skills, among others. After the training, the candidates would undergo a counselling session, during which representatives of trade and industry would be given an opportunity to select the students for suitable jobs. - Our Bureau More Stories on : Tourism | Education
