New chief for Cotton Association

Mumbai, Dec. 26

The board of Cotton Association of India has elected Mr P.D. Patodia as the president for 2007-08. Mr Patodia is on the CAI’s board since 1984 and has been Vice-President since 2002. Mr S.M. Makharia and Mr B.S. Bangdiwala have been elected as the Vice-President and the additional Vice-President respectively. Mr Makharia is on the CAI’s board since 1986 and is also the chairman of Bombay Cotton Merchants and Muccadums Associations. Mr B.S. Bangdiwala is on the CAI’s board since 1990 and is also the Chairman of Bombay Ready Cotton Broker’s Association. Mr Shirish R. Shah has been elected as the Honorary Treasurer of CAI. He is closely connected with CAI activities and is a member on various committees of the board. —
