AP to fill up 5,000 posts

Hyderabad, Dec. 27

The Andhra Pradesh Government has given the goahead to AP Public Service Commission to fill up 5,000 posts in various departments. At a meeting here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, also allowed the commission to fill up 19 vacancies for deputy collectors and 206 deputy tahsildars. The recruitment would be held in two phases. The notification for the first phase is likely to be announced in a few days, an official release said. - Our Bureau
