Electrical Goods Web Extras - Standards & Benchmarks `Indian electrical products fare poorly on tech, quality' Our Bureau Indian electrical manufactures when compared with global manufactures produced in India have fared poorly on technology, quality and delivery parameters, according to a Pricewaterhouse-Coopers report. On the cost parameter the manufactures are comparable, said the report titled `Demand Assessment of Electrical Equipment for Power Sector for 2008-2017', which was recently published by Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA). For benchmarking the Indian manufactures, the authors of the report sought feedback from officials in the power sector and power-intensive industries. Responses were received from 38 entities. A Web-based survey on the internal process, systems and practices of the manufactures has shown that Indian companies are better positioned on customer relationship and supply chain management.More Stories on : Electrical Goods | Standards & Benchmarks
