South Indian Bank biz exceeds target

Kochi, Dec. 31 The total business volume of South Indian Bank has crossed Rs 24,000 crore as against a corporate business target of Rs 25,000 crore.

Presiding over the inaugural function of the bank’s 200th online ATM in Kochi, Dr V.A. Joseph, Chairman, said that the bank has also crossed Rs 14,288 crore in deposits against a target of Rs 13,856 crore and Rs 10,000 crore in advances against a target of Rs 9,605 crore set for the quarter.

The bank currently has 487 branches and 27 extension counters.
