Samjhauta Express resumes

New Delhi, Dec. 31

The Ministry of Railways has decided to run one of the two passenger trains to Pakistan that were recently cancelled following the violence in Pakistan when public property, including trains and stations, were damaged. Samjhauta Express would run as scheduled, though no decision has been taken on the other train — Thar Express. Earlier, a press release from the Ministry of Railways had decided to cancel Samjhauta Express and Thar Express trains due to security consid erations.
