PIL agent for Mangalore operations

Mangalore, Jan 1 Sea Master Shipping & Logistics Pvt Ltd, a Seaways Group company, has been appointed agent for the Singapore-based PIL (Pacific International Line) in Mangalore. PIL is one of the major container ship operators in the world.

A press release by Seaways said here on Tuesday that PIL will bring 107 import containers of raw cashew from Africa. The feeder line service of Seaways Shipping – mv Kinship Bangar – will tranship this cargo from Kochi to New Mangalore. With this, the operation of PIL to New Mangalore will begin on January 2. The feeder line vessel, which operates on New Mangalore-JNPT-Pipavav route, recently extended its service to Kochi.
