Symbiosis, FMS Delhi win contest
New Delhi, Jan. 2
Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human
Resource Development, Pune and Faculty of
Management Studies, Delhi team have emerged joint
winners of the GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare
case study contest. In the contest `StratEdge', students
had to present a strategy with a vision to quadruple
modern trade turnover for Glaucus FMCG (fictional
company) by 2010. GSKCH gave the students of select
B-schools an opportunity to present their ideas to the
CEO for the contest. In the finals, the battle between
"The Spartans" from Symbiosis represented by Abhinav
Chugh and Sagar Kochhar and Faculty of Management
Studies, Delhi team led by Ashutosh Tandon, Ayush
Srivastava and Dhruv Gadh were announced joint
winners. Top B-schools like IIM C, XLRI, IIM L, FMS,
MDI, SIBM, SCMHRD, NITIE and SP JAIN were invited
to find their `edge' and voice their big idea. - Our Bureau
