Child Welfare Ministry submits Rs 72,000-cr proposals

Hyderabad, Jan. 3 The Union Ministry for Women and Child Welfare has put forth Rs 72,000-crore worth proposals in the Eleventh Plan period.

Talking to newspersons here on Thursday, Ms Renuka Chowdhary, Union Minister of State for Women and Child Welfare, hoped that the proposals would be ratified.

Earlier, she inaugurated a dedicated centre for breast diseases at KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) here.
