Boeing on AI Delhi-NY sector

Mumbai, Jan 3

Air India would be deploying its fourth Boeing 777-200 LR christened ‘Gujarat’ on the Delhi-New York sector. The first flight will take off from New Delhi on February 8, a statement from the airline said. The fifth B 777-200 LR will be delivered to Air India in February. Out of the 68 aircraft ordered from Boeing, Air India has received 17 so far. They include four B777-200LRs, three B777-300ERs and 10 B737-800s for Air India Express, its budget airline, the st atement said.
