Our Bureau New Delhi, Jan 3 Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday said that taking into account the rising raw material prices, it had hiked prices of all its vehicles except Logan between Rs 1,000-10,000 with effect from January 1. However, the company official said that in case of Scorpio, the price increase has been for Rs 1,000. This is in line with other companies such as Hyundai, General Motors who had also made similar announcements last month. Speaking at the launch of a special edition of Bolero, Mr Vivek Nayar, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, said that to strengthen the presence of its sports utility vehicle, the company had launched a special edition of Bolero priced at Rs 5.98 lakh, (ex-showroom Delhi)-based on customer feedback. The new edition of Bolero is priced slightly higher than the current cost at about 5.38 lakh of which company plans to sell only 1,000 units. He added that Bolero, which is currently selling about 4,000 units on a monthly average, has been growing at 35 per cent year-on-year.
