MS Software sells stake in Geometric

Mumbai, Jan. 5

MS Software Benelux BV has sold 4.99 per cent of its holding in the city based Geometric Software Solutions to Godrej Investments Pvt Ltd. Post the stake sale, MS Software's stake in the company will come down to 3.38 per cent as against 8.37 per cent earlier. MS Software Benelux BV is a part of MSC Software Corporation, a provider of integrated enterprise simulation solutions.

The company sold about 31 lakh shares in the Mumbai based firm to Godrej on December 24. Godrej Investments now has 4.99 per cent stake in Geometric. The Geometric scrip was down by 3.5 per cent on the BSE on Friday.
