Syndicate Bank unveils facilities

Coimbatore, Jan. 5

Syndicat-e-banking facility and ATM was inaugurated at the Gandhipuram branch of the bank in the city on Saturday. Mr A.R. Nagappan, Director, Syndicate Bank, inaugurated the facility. Speaking on the occasion, he said about 300 branches are in the process of being upgraded and hooked to the CBS network. “We are also planning to unveil a number of new products through multi-level delivery systems. We will shortly introduce mobile banking facility as well,” he s aid. Stating that this would be the 64th branch in the Coimbatore region to be brought under CBS, its DGM (Regional Office) Mr C.J. Chacko, said there are 14 branches and 12 ATMs in the city. “We will be adding 5 more ATMs soon,” he said. The total business in this region is of the order of Rs 2,400 crore, Mr Chacko said.
