Gandhinagar, Jan. 7 Unveiling his newly-formed BJP government’s agenda for the next five years, the Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr Narendra Modi today said his Government would strive to achieve the growth target of 11.2 per cent fixed by the Planning Commission for the State during the coming Five-Year Plan.

Although this target was rather high, Gujarat would make an all-out effort to achieve it by following an integrated approach towards agriculture, industry and services.

Another important feature would be completion of all development works undertaken in relation to the Narmada water projects by 2010 when Gujarat celebrates the Golden Jubilee of its creation.
