MIC Electronics plans overseas units

Hyderabad, Jan. 7

MIC Electronics, a Hyderabad-based company engaged in the manufacture of flat panels and digital display products, is considering setting up subsidiary in China and South East Asian countries, along with a move to consider and finalise two acquisitions. The company has convened a board meeting to consider these proposals on January 12. During a meeting of shareholders at the EGM held here last week, the company has approved increase in authorised capital from Rs 22 crore t o Rs 30 crore, MIC Electronics informed the BSE. —
