Bangalore, Jan 7

Motor Industries Company Ltd (MICO) has been renamed Bosch Ltd. Mr V.K. Viswanathan, the Joint Managing Director, will take over as the new managing director of the company from February this year. According to a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the EGM today decided to change the name subject to necessary Government approvals. It also decided to appoint Mr V.K. Viswanathan and Dr Manfred Duernholz as directors of the company. The tenure of Mr M. Lakshminarayan, the J oint Managing Director, has been extended from July 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Dr Duernholz has also been appointed Joint Managing Director of the company from February 1, 2008 to December 31, 2011. —
