VUDA auctions fetch Rs 334 cr
Visakhapatnam, Jan. 7
The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority
(VUDA) has earned Rs 334 crore this week by
auctioning 10 plots at Madhurawada and Paradesipalem,
with the total area being 94.8 acres. Devona
Infrastructure Ltd, a subsidiary of India Bulls, Mumbai,
paid the maximum price, Rs 7.06 crore per acre, for a 13.9
acre plot. Maytas Propeties Ltd bagged 25.6 acres, at Rs
1.53 crore per acre, and L&T got 15 acres at the same rate
at Paradesipalem. Bharat Infrastructure Projects Ltd
(20.52 acres in two plots), Airmid Real Estates Ltd,
Sadhya Hotels Ltd, Visakha Reality Ltd, Mr Praveen
Thota, an NRI, and Deccan Infrastructure Ltd were the
other successful bidders. The auctions went on till late in
