New Financial Services Secretary

New Delhi, Jan. 8

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Arun Ramanathan, a 1973 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, as Financial Services Secretary. He has come in the vacancy of Mr Vinod Rai, who has assumed charge as the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Mr Ramanathan is currently Secretary in Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals. He is expected to assume charge as Financial Services Secretary on Wednesday. - Our Bureau
