Cummins begins work on mega site

Pune, Jan. 9 Cummins India has today performed the ground breaking ceremony of the Cummins mega site in Phaltan, Satara district in Maharashtra.

Mr Anant Talaulicar, Chairman and Managing Director, Cummins India, said the mega site would be built on 150 acres of land.

He said 90 acres has been acquired and the remaining 60 acres would be acquired soon. Construction is expected to commence shortly.

The first manufacturing facility will be in place by 2009.
