Court rejects Pansari criminal case

Kolkata, Jan. 9

Mr Apurba Sinha Roy, Chief Judicial Magistrate of Alipore Court, Calcutta has rejected the petition filed by Mr R.P. Pansari, (Birla Group) against Mr R.S. Lodha and three others, alleging criminal conspiracy besides other criminal infringements. By this order, Mr R.S. Lodha has gained further momentum for progressing the affairs of M.P. Birla Estate. Mr Pansari also filed an application for early hearing of criminal cases filed against Mr Lodha. Another application asking for search and seizure in the house of Mr Lodha was also filed. The court held that the petitions do not have any substance, as such are not maintainable, hence rejected. The allegation of breach of trust also did not sustain. It was alleged that the will of Priyamvada Devi Birla is a product of breach of trust. The court also did not accept such view. —
