Physicians' meet at Kochi from today

Kochi, Jan. 9

APICON 2008, the 63rd annual conference of Association of Physicians of India, will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthanandan, here on Thursday at Hotel Le Meridian. As part of the 4-day conference, there will be an exhibition by pharma companies and non-pharma agencies. Kerala will gain from the conference, as the medical tourism efforts initiated by the State Government in the recent period are gaining momentum. The Association of Physicians of India has around 14,400 members and chapters in various States. - Our Bureau
