New Products & Services
Our Bureau Hyderabad, Jan. 9 IT services provider Satyam Computer today announced that it has released an enhanced version of its Set Top Box (STB) framework at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new framework enables manufacturers of STBs to offer a rich variety of features and functions via a standard plug-and-play platform. STBs are devices that transform external signals into content delivered via a television screen. In a statement to the BSE, Satyam has informed that organisations making STBs can target segments of this growing market more quickly and accurately, and bring more competitive products to these segments faster and at lower costs. This flexible framework supports satellite, cable, terrestrial, and Internet Protocol STBs and also features robust application programming interface support. It is technology agnostic.
