Coimbatore, Jan. 10 Kopran Ltd has said that the Board of Directors has approved the proposal to issue and allot on preferential basis 5,81,656 equity shares to IDBI Bank and two lakh equity shares to LIC as a part of the settlement of their dues.

Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd has said that a meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on January 16 to consider a proposal to raise additional funds through foreign debt instrument(s).

VIP Industries Ltd has informed that the High Court of Judicature at Bombay has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement of Aristocrat Luggage Ltd and Quality Plastics Ltd with the company. The certified true copy of the order has now been received by the company and it is in the process of filing the same with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai.

Wockhardt Ltd’s Board of Directors will meet on January 18 to consider in principle approval to demerge New Chemical Entities (NCE) R&D and certain high value products R&D carried out by the company, subject to the approval of shareholders and other regulatory authorities and raising of funds through further issue of equity/equity linked securities.
