Trend Micro unveils new security products

New Delhi, Jan. 10 To counter the rising incidences of cyber crime and Internet security threats, Trend Micro has unveiled 2008 suite of customer security products.

The products are aimed at strengthening personal information protection, delivering enhanced performance and improving the protection of consumers’ digital assets with new Web threat protection, intrusion blocking and easy reporting.

The Trend Micro Internet Security Pro (for wireless environment) is a new offering, while Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2008 and Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 (with parental control) are updates to existing products.

“With these products, home users can now confidently e-mail, shop, bank and share photos online. Each of the three new products has been designed to match the Internet security profile of different individuals,” Mr Ross Wilson, Managing Director, Consumer Products and Services (APAC region), Trend Micro, said.

The Internet Security Pro is a solution for advanced computer users who regularly use their PC for web transactions and who require advanced solutions for identity protection, and carries a subscription price (of one year new retail packaging) of Rs 2,900 with protection for up to three PCs.
