Maples opens branch in Coimbatore

Coimbatore, Jan. 10

Chennai-based Maples ESM Technologies opened its branch in the city today, taking its total branch network to 11, with 7 in India and two each in the US and Japan. “The branch in Coimbatore will offer both training and consulting services,” its Managing Director, Mr N. Ram Subramani, said. “Most of our clients have branch operations here, and the current demand is outstripping supply particularly for RIM (Remote IT Infrastructure Management) and IBM techn ology platforms. The company has invested close to Rs 60 lakh in setting up its centre here. The existing facility would enable Maples train about 250 people at a time. Foreseeing a huge talent crunch of RIM professionals, Maples is gearing up to establish training centres in Noida, Kolkata and Nagpur. “Thiruvananthapuram and Mysore are potential places. We are exploring the opportunity that exists in all these places,” Mr Ram said. —
