SEBI’s education arm to team up with Stern School

Our Bureau

Mumbai, Jan. 14 The National Institute of Securities Market (NISM), the nodal institute for securities market education established by SEBI, is set to join forces with Stern School of Business, New York.

Some areas identified for the collaboration include Stern’s assistance in launching a graduate programme in securities markets, executive education programmes, and forging cutting-edge research in the securities market among others.

Speaking at a meeting in the city on Monday, SEBI Chairman, Mr M. Damodaran, pointed out that SEBI’s aim is to increase the number of qualified professionals in the securities market and NISM’s tie-up with Stern is another step in that direction.
