AI Express gets 11th 737-800 aircraft

New Delhi, Jan 16 Air India Express, the low cost subsidiary of Air India, has taken delivery of its eleventh Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Wednesday.

In a statement the airline has said that the induction of the new aircraft would see Air India Express increase its weekly flights to 172. The induction of the aircraft would see the airline fleet strength increase to 18.

The airline started operations in April 2005 and currently operates 154 weekly flights to 12 international destinations.
