Sasken Q3 profit down 68%

Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd has reported lower third-quarter earnings, although its revenue increased 8 per cent during the quarter. Earnings dropped 68.3 per cent to Rs 3.8 crore on revenues of Rs 141.3 crore. Revenues from the telecom software services segment, which is about 93 per cent of the company’s total revenues, grew 4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 131.6 crore, while telecom software products grew 129 per cent to 9.5 crore. Depreciation and amortis ation was 7.4 per cent at Rs 10.3 crore for the quarter, up from 4.7 per cent in the year-ago period.
