LIC Housing to make pref offer

Coimbatore, Jan. 20

LIC Housing Finance Ltd has decided to make preferential offer of 84 lakh shares to two institutions. The company will be making a preferential allotment of equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 400 per share to First Gulf Bank (50,00,000 equity shares) and LIC of India (34,00,000 equity shares). In a communication to the BSE, it said that the board of directors has called for an EGM of the members on February 14 to approve the decision.
