Pidilite, the maker of Fevicol and Dr. Fixit waterproofing solutions, is launching a new product, ‘Dr. Fixit Tonic’, which is a cement additive that improves workability as well as strength of the concrete. Dr. Fixit Tonic is an integral waterproof compound for cement plaster and concrete. It waterproofs concrete and mortar and helps in delaying corrosion of reinforcement steel, a company release said. “Dr. Fixit Tonic has to be mixed in gauging water dur ing preparation of concrete like RCC columns, beams, slabs, water retaining structures, screeds and plaster or mortar,” Mr Jairaj Hegde, Vice-President (Marketing), of the company said. Pidilite offers a range of construction chemicals used for construction, including waterproofing compounds, repair products, sealants, admixtures, tile adhesives and grouts, flooring treatments and speciality coatings. Its product range includes adhesives and sealants, construction and paint chemicals, automotive chemicals, art materials, industrial adhesives, industrial and textile resins and organic pigments and preparations.
