Hyderabad, Jan. 21

After the low-cost computer and the Rs 1-lakh car Nano, it is a cheaper office applications suite; GoBe Productive, developed by the US-based Blue Lotus Software Solutions, is priced at just Rs 1,250. "It has a fine mix of several user-friendly applications. You can insert a spreadsheet as you prepare your document," Mr Venkat Kumar Tangirala, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said.

Addressing a press conference here to mark the launch of the product in India, he said GoBe was compatible with popular applications such as pdf, Word, plain text, HTML and rich text format.
