The three-day ‘IAAPI Trade Show 2008’, country’s premier international event for amusement, leisure and entertainment sector, is being held for the eighth year in succession in Mumbai from February 14.

The show, organised by the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI), is expected to attract more than 2,000 operators, manufacturers, importers, traders, suppliers and distributors from the amusement, leisure, entertainment and allied industries around the world.

According to the organisers, the trade show is expected to be held in Kolkata and other metros in successive years.

The size of the Indian amusement park business is said to be around Rs 4,000 crore and expected to grow by 6 per cent annually till 2010.

There will be 142 stalls in the Mumbai show with participation of more than 50 exhibitors from the US, UK, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, Dubai, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan and Thailand.
