MAAC appoints McCann Erickson

Mumbai, Jan. 22

Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), a 3D animation & visual effects training academy offering various courses in computer graphics, animation & visual effects, has appointed McCann Erickson as its creative agency. This comes as a part of the recent restructuring MAAC has done to strengthen its business operations in India & abroad. Mr Ronald D’mello, MD & CEO, MAAC, said: “With the change in the business environment it is very important to reach out to our audiences strategically. We were on the lookout for an advertising agency that will help us in evolving the brand to newer heights & McCann’s previous track record really suited us. In the FY 08-09, MAAC will substantially enhance its marketing budget and will reach out to its audiences through an array of communication media ”. MAAC is the education division of Maya Entertainment Ltd. It operates in nearly 60 centres and has provided services to more than 30,000 students in India , Nepal, West Asia and Sri Lanka . It has an exclusive association with the University of Cambridge, London to validate its diploma courses.
