Subex Azure Ltd, global solutions provider to telecom operators, said it won a contract to provide fraud management and revenue assurance solutions for Umniah, the third GSM mobile phone operator to enter the Jordanian market. Subex would provide the company, which is a subsidiary of Batelco Bahrain, with Nikira, its fraud management system and Moneta, its revenue assurance programme. Nikira uses artificial intelligence to help operators detect known fraud types and patter ns of unusual behaviour.
