HSL delivers vessel to Good Earth

Visakhapatnam, Jan. 23

The second vessel in the series of 30,000 DWT bulk carriers, m.v Good Princess, was delivered to the Chennai-based Good Earth Maritime Ltd by the Hindustan Shipyard Ltd here on Wednesday. Rear Admiral Ajit Tewari, Chairman and Managing Director, HSL, who handed over the vessel to the GEML representative, said the first vessel in the series had been handed over on May 31, 2007, and the third would be handed over by March. The release adds that during the current financial y ear the shipyard will be delivering six ships, totalling 1,30,000 DWT, which will be a record in its history. The shipyard is also constructing six 53,000 DWT vessels (Diamond series) for Good Earth, to be delivered in the next few years.
