Tata Teleservices Maharashtra MD quits

Mumbai, Jan. 24

Mr Charles Anthony has resigned from his position as the Managing Director of Tata Teleservices Maharashtra (TTML). Dr Mukund Govind Rajan, who is a member of the TTML board, has replaced Mr Anthony. Dr Rajan joined the Tata Group through the Tata Administrative Service (TAS) in January 1995. He also serves on the boards of several Tata companies, including Tata Teleservices Ltd, Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd and Piem Hotels Ltd. Dr Rajan will hold the Managing Director’s office for five years with effect from January 23. —
