Nod for State data centres

New Delhi, Jan. 24

The Cabinet on Thursday approved a scheme for setting up of State Data Centres - a part of core infrastructure for National e-Governance Plan across States and UTs. As part of the Scheme, the Government would provide technical and financial support to the States and UTs for setting up these centres. The scheme has an outlay of Rs 1,623.2 crore which includes both capital and operational expenses for a period of five years. - Our Bureau
