Book train tickets 90 days in advance

Kolkata, Jan. 23

Advance reservation period for railway tickets will be 90 days, excluding the date of journey, with effect from February 1, in place of the existing 60 days, says an Eastern Railway press release. For some daytime Mail/Express trains, lower time limits for existing advance reservation period will remain unchanged. There will also be no change in the existing 360-day advance reservation period for foreign tourists, adds the release.
